johan Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 The hottest looking heels are too small to make much sound. 1
Betterthanthis13 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I've had a couple of pairs re-heeled by a cobbler just from excessive wear, and they too came back not as loud. It's when they wear down and the metal part starts getting exposed that they get loud...for me, anyway. Can't say I've ever seen a woman at Nordstrom trying on shoes and taking them out into the mall or onto the marble to see how they SOUND. Now I have a burning desire to go to Nordstrom and test out heels by how obnoxious they sound on the tile floors 1
Star Gazer Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 LOL so because YOU dont know any...that closes the case?? Do you know of any? To substantiate your "guarantee"? Have you had a woman tell you that she chose a pair of shoes because they're loud and therefore they will get the attention of men? I "guarantee" you haven't.
Betterthanthis13 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 LOL so because YOU dont know any...that closes the case?? I believe that comment she made was sarcastic
Author MrTurk Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 Let me give an example..... Nancy works at the office....Nancy is very hot. She is well aware that the guys check her out. The guys love when Nancy wears her heels....she looks great in them. When Nancy wears heels....it makes noise as she walks down the halls...and the guys always hear her coming. Soooo What do you think goes though the mind of the men when they hear those heels clicking....as she approaches?? And you are going to try to tell me that there are no women at all that like to toy with guys...using their heels visually and audibly??? Please .
NXS Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 You GUARANTEE that there are some women who select their shoes based on how LOUD they are for the purpose of gaining ATTENTION from men? Really? I know of no such woman. We recently had a training session in work with an outside female speaker, she wore loud clanky shoes which were made worse by the flooring and echoing of the room. For the whole session she kept walking around in them like a child looking for attention.

She wears heels because she knows she looks good in them. She doesn't wear them because they're loud; that's just a mere coincidence.

We wear them because we look good in them. Why is that difficult to understand?

Why is that difficult to understand? What is difficult to understand that YOU are not the sole representative of all women??
Star Gazer Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I believe that comment she made was sarcastic No, it wasn't. I cannot fathom a woman picking a pair of shoes thinking, "These are LOUD! Yessss! THIS is how I will get attention from men! With my annoyingly loud shoes!" C'mon. No. She puts them on and thinks, "Damn, I look good in these."
Star Gazer Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 What is difficult to understand that YOU are not the sole representative of all women?? You haven't answered my question. You said you GUARANTEE that there are women who purposefully wear loud shoes to get attention from men. What woman has told you she does this?
NXS Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Man you guys are so unimaginitive. If I thought a guy thought I was staring at him or drooling over him because of his hotness, (Vomit!!) but really I was just looking for whatever reason, and he said something stupid to me like, "Like what you see?" being all egotistical and smug..... I'd ask him about the booger on his nose, or if he was feeling ok? "You look a little pale and sickly" or just go all out and fall to the floor and start saying "I'm not worthy! You're soooooooooo hotttttt" then roll my eyes into the back of my head until he got that i was being sarcastic and he called me a bitch or something and went away forever I don't stare at anyone though because its rude Well it's more to do with it being a work environment and I don't want it to lead to awkwardness. Besides it's a devious pleasure knowing that she's wrong and playing with her.

johan Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I GUARANTEE that refrigerator repairmen wear saggy jeans because they think women enjoy looking at their hairy butt cracks. 2
Author MrTurk Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 Well, nancy is a slut. Obviously ^^^^ that was also sarcasm^^^^^^ Not that theres anything wrong with that

Why is that difficult to understand? Well if I was wearing loud boots in that environment I'd try to minimize the noise by standing still rather than continuously walk around, but then I'm not looking for childish attention.
Divasu Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I GUARANTEE that refrigerator repairmen wear saggy jeans because they think women enjoy looking at their hairy butt cracks. We do. It's no urban legend... 1

Most women- at least the ones you would want to have a relationship with- do not put that much effort into getting attention from random men. Loud shoes? Short skirts? Looking hot? It's not done to tease men and get external validation by a woman who is worth your time. Yes those types of women exist. They are called strippers. The rest of us don't put that much thought into every detail. Yeah we wan to look good- but don't choose our outfits with precision to turn on the IT guy at work. Maybe I have a date after work. Maybe it's a PMS day and I needed not to feel fat and ugly so I chose something to wear that made me feel good. Maybe I woke up late and just threw stuff on and made a mistake. Maybe I got something on sale an it sucks but I feel obligated to wear it at least once before I send it to the Salvation Army. Most of the time- women don't choose clothing to provoke random men. I'm sure there are some that do. I advise you to stay away from those women- they sound dangerous and scary 1

I'm pretty short. It takes me at least 2 steps for every one a tall man has to make- in heels that sounds like clackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclack No matter what I do. Why worry about it? Because some dude might be judging me? Nah ill pass 1

She might take off her shoe scream like a banshee she's not getting enough attention and pierce you with a loud stripper heel lol 1
Star Gazer Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I choose to only converse with open minded people. Thank you You mean you only converse with those who agree with you, and not those who ask you for the basis of your "guarantees"? Okay. 1
xxoo Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I'm self conscious about the sound my shoes make when I wear heels in a quiet environment. But I have to walk, and some professional clothes look best with heels. 2
