I am a girl and around a year ago I gave my number to this girl I had a crush on. (She likes girls as well). I didn't ask for her number because I didn't know if she was single and didn't want to put her in an awkward spot in case she didn't like me like that. I am pretty positive she knows I have a crush on her. Well she never called but added me on facebook instead so once every couple months we would send a couple facebook messages to each other and would say hi and sometimes engage in chit chat as we passed by. According to her facebook she was in a relationship. I thought okay, we can be friends for now.. Well a couple weeks ago, a year after I gave her my number, she facebook messaged me one day out of the blue, which is rare for her, and told me she lost my number and asked if she could have it again. I of course gave it to her and right away she sends me a text so I could have her number too. I was pretty stoked! I'm not sure of her relationship status at the moment, I've heard different things. My question is do you think she's interested now? Or is this something one would do if they're starting to become interested?

Take it slow, texting is a good start.
