Baby123 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 So just liked MM's childs social networking pic by accident when stalking. WOW. can't breathe.
bentleychic Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 How did you do that? Is MM's kids pic public or something and why were you stalking his kid?
BrokenPrincess Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Ugggghhhh I did that once right after DDay. His daughter posted a note on Instagram that her mom (MMs W) had written her & it was late at night, I tried zooming in with my fingers but it must've considered it a double tap & automatically "liked" it. I thought I was going to puke. I changed my profile pic to just a landscape pic & set myself to private. Not sure that she'd even know who I am, but I was freaking out. Insta says if soneone is not activelt on the ap when you like then unlike, they wont get the notification in their news list. But by the time I woke up, her picture had 70 likes so I figured even if she'd had the notification in the list of people who liked it or even push notifications turned on, she probably would've have even noticed it. Was it on Facebook or Instagram or somewhere else. Do his kids know you?
SunsetRed Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Glad Im not the only one who's done that! Well, Ive never liked her pages, but im sure Ive stalked his daughters pages enough to show up as "someone you may know" which is embarrassing. What was I looking for? I was looking for updates such as "my mom and dad need to get divorced." Or I was looking for pics of family get togethers to prove to myself that MM was lying. I had to force myself to stop doing it, as its not healthy for a 40 something woman to be looking at a teens fb page. Makes u think how easy and scary it would be to accidently hit the friend request button. 2
Author Baby123 Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 My MM's kids know who I am, urgh. I did exactly what broken princess did on instagram and changed my name and pic within 5 minutes... still teenegers are CONSTANTLY on their phones.. I'm panicked, I can't sleep, hearts racing... don't know whether its been seen or not. What will MM think, will he still want to be friends, argh xx
Cocochai Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 FB doesn't suggest people you may know by looking at their profile. It's mutual friends, network likes, could have went to school together. FB guesses not by you viewing their profile. The day people can tell you viewed their profile is the day I deactivate lol. Actually the less I'm on FB, the less I think about my XMM
LilGirlandOW Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 unlike.. UNLIKE!! Yikes! lol I accidently sent my father a text message meant for my MM before doubl yikes lol
crederer Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Change your profile pic, change the name to a nick name or something (basically anything other than your legal name) and put your profile on private. Then disappear like a phantom and stop stalking. It's weird.
sweet_pea Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Unlike/go private if you can, but yeah... stop 'stalking' the kids, etc. 1
HopingAgain Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Why in the world are you looking at his kids pages?? Stuff like this is another reason why people should have their privacy settings trump tight on social media. Good Lord that is just creepy. 2
xxoo Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 If it freaks you out enough that you stop stalking, Look at it as a blessing. 1
whichwayisup Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 If it freaks you out enough that you stop stalking, Look at it as a blessing. This pretty much sums it's up. Your physical reaction to "liking" her picture, is your gut telling you what you are doing is so wrong. stalking/lurking her instagram or facebook is not cool at all. Please just stop looking. Block the daughter and the rest of his kids so you can't go and look if you are tempted. What goes on in his kids lives, the pictures they posts etc., is absolutely none of your business. 3
twinsmom Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 It's very simple to "unlike" a photo or quote. No need to change profile, etc.
Author Baby123 Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 MM never mentioned it, so i'm guessing I covered it up :/ still MUST refrain from stalking in the future!
