Superfly76 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Women are not the easiest creature to figure out. Guys have know this since the beginning to time. Although it may seem impossible to dial in on them, its not. Well its not all that easy either. Certain things you have to keep in mind when dealing with them. Small things mean a lot to women, and guys often over look them. For instance, when a women is on her cycle, often guys don`t interact with women at this time. Listening to other guys on this subject matter, its like "dude just leave her alone for a few days". That my friend is the worst action to take. Although she may act like it, she really doesn`t want you to cut her off for a few days. She still wants that same interact, but she may not just express it. Cutting her off is just adding fuel to the fire, and those days can become hell on earth for you. So still do the things you would normally do with her like talking to her. It seem not seem like much, and she may not talk a lot, but it means more than you know. When its all over she will appreciate that you did write her off for a few days. 1
Els Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I think most guys get the "women aren't 'creatures' that we need to 'figure out', they're humans just like us!!" epiphany at about the same time they get the "it's a bad idea to cut off your gf for a few days just because she's on her period" epiphany. Which I always thought happened around the tender age of 18 or something for most guys, but after reading LS a little bit, I'm not so sure now. 1

Philosoraptor Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 What happened to simply treating others the way you want to be treated? Would you want to just be dropped when you were going through something, anything? If not, don't do it to her. I'll never understand the silly games and lack of compassion that seems rampant in people these days. 2
emva07 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I think 30 is the "new" 18... TFY SO TRUE. What is this about periods and talking to women? Who do you know who just ignores women when it's that time of month? 2
emva07 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Reminds me of neandethrals, they used to have a hut specifically for menstruating women. They would just go hang out there during that time. Hang out with other fellow menstruating women. No man that I know, whether it was my bf or a FWB ever cared about my period. With my bf we'd find other ways to get it on. With FWB they'd like "ok, cool...so what's up?" Never been flat out ignored during this time. Even my dog gives me more attention during this time :lmao: 1
Author Superfly76 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 A human being is a creature by definition. As far as cutting someone off, a figure of speech. Treating some different because of their actions, is in a sense cutting them off. Though it not be completely, the fact of some type of disconnect is cutting someone off. While I type this very thing is and has been do by guys. Some not is obvious as others, but just the same. I have seen it, and just wanted to put it out there to the guys that do this. To say this is not the way to treat a lady.
emva07 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Aw, well thanks for the public safety announcement, nice to see you care. But I doubt that guys who do act like this will read this and say "whoa! I've been a jerk this whole time! I must change!"
Author Superfly76 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Just a bug in the ear. What they do with it is on them.
