marina skylar Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 So I've (25) been dating a guy (29) for 6 months but we never made things official, as he is leaving for a business trip for 5 months. Simply put, we started off as friends -> FWB -> dating and it was a mutual understanding. I've met his family several times and I get along with almost if not all his best friends. However, we decided to stop seeing each other for the time being because we knew it would distract him from his work now and me from studies and we've had an emotional but "good" breakup. We've been in low contact and would still be polite when we ran into each other. However, I've his friends have been inviting me to hang out with them because they genuinely liked me and apparently this has been upsetting him. Recently, he broke the NC and confessed how upset I've been making him feel and I apologized (I had no idea). He heard rumours that I was involved with his coworkers/friends, which is completely false but he doesn't believe me. What I want to know is how likely do you think it'll be to reconnect with him later in the future? On a side note: I've learned that guys are much more sensitive than they appear to be... Lets also discuss how true the differences between men and women are as portrayed in books like Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus
