This Monday & Tuesday will be too soon, I probably won't see her Wednesday (only working 3 hours), and I can't ask Thursday because Friday we are having an in-office Thanksgiving party. The week of the 22nd may be better anyway - my boss will be on vacation and I can easily take an hour or so for lunch (assuming she's given that long, as well.) Perhaps I should just stick with small talk this week, and maybe Friday (before I leave for the weekend) I'll ask her if she'd like to join me the following week.
Sukotto Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Back on topic slightly I usually say "good morning Miss Smith" and that always gets a good reaction, usually a reply of "good morning Mr MacVicar" and then a big smile from them and then that usually leads into a huge long conversation. Though I usually start calling them by the first name for the rest of the day.
