savethedrama4allama Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Funny signature tanbark! I would comment on your question killerlooks, but tanbark will get mad at me because I am not a man.
tanbark813 Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 STD4YM: I won't get mad at you. It's okay that you're not a man. I forgive you. Thanks for the compliment on the sig, though.

I'd love the attention....it would be very flattering to have someone chase ME. very nice. BUT on the other hand....some men may feel threatened.....like they are not in control....

I'm glad you will forgive me I think that if a man feels threatened by you asking him out, then he's probably not the kind you want to be involved with anyway.
Fritz Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Yes, I would like it. Why should I always have to do all the work, take the risk? All the "courtin" as it were?
HappyInNJ Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Yes, absolutely! The two women that asked me out I ended up marrying ( I just kind of wish that the first one never did though My wife now (whom I refer to as the REAL and ONLY wife) asked me out, and within 10 months we were married. It's been 10 years this past October. I lucked out. The moral of the story is that if she never asked me, I never would have approached her because I thought I was out of her league. There is too much pressure on men these days, and if a woman approaches a man, I think it's a great thing!
gwennebe Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 I'm thankful for this post. After reading that stupid "he's not into you" crap, I've been afraid to do much of anything. LOL. I mean, sure a lot of guys are idiots but there are those few nice guys out there that really are too shy to ask a girl out. Most of my long term relationships have been me asking the guy out first or approaching first. The guys that usually hit on me are always loosers and after I approach a guy I do find interesting they are like "thank god, because I figured you were way out of my league" so if it feels right in your gut I say go for it.
iceisles Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Girls asking me out? LOL. I thought I had heard of everything.
