danz333 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 My ex-girlfriend(fiance) broke up with me about two months ago. Contact was minimal during this period, and I initiated it. She mostly ignores me. Something happens a week ago where shes in a real jam. I help her through it and shes real thankful. Tells me that it means a lot to her. I say no deal, don't worry about. Pay it forward. But she insists on "thanking me somehow". I said okay, don't go out of your way. She invites me to her house to pick up some pictures. I get there and her face is done up and she's wearing earrings. She's nervous too;hands in pocket, swinging her body forward and backward type deal. She says thank you so much, and ask if she could hug me. I said okay, and we hugged for a good while. As I'm leaving she ask if I want to come back at night and have some drinks. I said okay. The chemistry is real strong between us at night. She's real smiley and just bright. I had her laughing pretty good. We're sitting on the couch, no space between us really. She's still wearing earrings(which is not something she does), and she's flirting with me. Says that I'm very handsome for some reason. She wipes something off my forehead, and then in a bout of laughter grabs onto my shoulder and leans her head onto my arm. Twice. She tells me about how she wants to get a tattoo on her neck, and she exposes her neck to me for a while(it was weird). She asks me if I'm looking for anyone. I say no. She tells me how she's been trying to improve herself, doing lots of inner work, etc... I say that's good. We watch a t.v. show together, which is something we always did. Eventually, she tells me that it's time to go, she has to get up early or something. She texts me later on saying: "thanks", and that she "had a lot of fun :)". I'm not sure what to make of this. Nothing really came up about the relationship, although she asked me if my father hated her for breaking up(strange question). I said no. I'm interested but not sure how to proceed. I feel like she gave me the go-ahead, am I wrong?

Dude, I think; for the moment, you were her knight in Shining Armor and you helped her when she needed it. But, I speculate that it will wear off quickly if it hasn't already. Odd story thought.....
Soat Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Here's an idea. Stop playing games. If you like and want her just say so. Get it out there and be done with it. Otherwise you're wasting time.
Author danz333 Posted August 21, 2013 Author Posted August 21, 2013 I like that Soat. That's my style. Thanks. Truly.
Soat Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I like that Soat. That's my style. Thanks. Truly. Glad I could help. People make relationships so much more complicated than they need to be by being scared to ask the questions and get it settled one way or another. Life's too short!
