I've liked this guy for about 6 years now but I only see him once a year (he's my friends out of state cousin). When we see each other we flirt a lot and two years ago we laid together and cuddled. But we never keep in tough when he goes home and we've never kissed but usually there are family members around.

 

I don't know if he likes me but I think there is definitely an attraction there. We are both single right now and both looking to move next year to a similar area of the country and both want to settle down (although he may be a bit of a man whore lol).

 

I text him this: So here's the thing...I really enjoy seeing you for the short amount of time that I get to and i would like to get to know you better. If you feel the same let me know, if not no big deal and I'm sure ill see you next year when I kick ur butt at more games

 

 

He text back: I enjoy hanging out with you too Ashley. We were on the same team for the record! Lol

 

 

What does that mean? Is that the nice way to reject? Or what? He sent this back like 6 hours later and by the time I got his message it was late but I replied with this:

Ummm until I joined teams w Someone else and kicked ur butt .

 

 

Usually I'm pretty smart w guys but this guy is my dream guy (to get all dramatic) and I can't ever figure out how to act around him lol.

Sounds like he's just giving you a playful response that mirrors yours. Hard to really read into things more than that.
