We left at a point where after 6 months (he dumped me twice), he broke things off again saying he was having feelings (undefined) for his ex, and things weren't working anyway with me because we just don't match. I went to see a friend abroad and had an affair with him, thought that could change things but did not (rebounds don't work!!). Came back and saw the ex, who admitted that being without me is hard. So we took things easy, had a wonderful week until today when we argued for a text misunderstanding and finally today broke off for good. He said he needs to fix things for himself, and maybe he will come back to me when everything will be solved and hopefully it won't be too late. I replied that I really want to move on and that my door wasn't open and wasn't staying open. We left in good terms after all, no words of hate nor anything like that. I miss him like hell already, and this time I really have to make NC work. Not to get him back, but because I want to be alive again... without him. I should have realised this weeks ago as many of you said but I wasn't clever/brave enough. I just want to move on, but I miss him so much and I live 14.000 miles from my family and I have flu and fever and things are just so hard right now.
