so this is my first break up. we've had a shaky relationship and the post break up didn't go so well. now my ex girlfriend is asking for space. i'm going to grant it to her, but i don't know what her intentions are? what is the purpose of giving her space? will she come back to me even if she doesn't want to now?

I'm not going to sugar coat this, bud. Just give her the space and expect her to break up with you. More times than not, they'll just run off. Don't give them the space, guess what? They'll still leave, or cheat. So yeah, it's hard to do but just NC give her space, keep the line open and decide if YOU want to wait for HER.

^^^ What he said, BUT, DON'T sit around and wait! Go do whatever you want, with whoever you want, whenever you want. She set the pace here, now RUN with it and enjoy yourself!

Remember, you owe her exactly ZERO explainations for where you are, who with, etc...

Wants her space? Roll the red carpet right out the door for her!

"Need Space" = Done. Outie 5000. She's taking your relationship out to the back of the barn and sending it upstate if you catch my drift.

It sucks. You probably won't believe me, either.

... "Need Space"... You just heard it. I've heard it. Other people in this thread heard it. There could probably be an entire Loveshack forum dedicated to all the people who heard it or said it.

9.98~/10 times, this is the nail in the coffin. I don't mean to be Negative Nancy, but it's just the reality of indirect women and relationships. They think that beating around the bush is the equivalent of speaking the truth.
