"Rule" that you should ignore when you are in the early stages of a relationship

Don't call them the next day after you first meet them, or the day after the first date - Wrong. Don't over think things. Do you like the person? Then call them and set up a date the next day. Don't worry whether or not they think you are "needy" or "desperate". If they like you, they'll be glad to hear from you, plus they just gave you their phone number. Also, if the first date goes well, don't play games and wait it out. Call them the next day, talk more, set up another time to go out, let on that you are interested in her/him. The other person will know where you stand. I met my wife on a weekend, and asked her if she wanted to go out again two days later after our first date. I didn't beat around the bush.

exactly..............chasing and playing hard to get is for people with too much time on their hands. When you are single, you can afford to take chances and sometimes CAN'T afford to wait around for someone. When I was dating my wife I didn't try to impress her by looking "busy" on certain nights. Neither did she. We just flat out liked each other and wanted to make time for each other. Easily the most drama-free woman I've ever been with.
