Fitgirl_xO Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Hey guys, just me your resident moron who can't stop screwing up So I had a date the other night. It was impromptu, I already had plans with my close friends, but he really wanted to spend time with me so I invited him. Overall, we had a great date. He asked me out again for Saturday night, but by the end, we all had had too many shots. He went over to help a friend hook up with some girls but I didn't know what was going on. I'm a regular at this place, so my bartender friends were coming over asking why he was buying shots for those girls instead of with me. I wasn't phased at first, but then became embarrassed by it all & grew upset with him. And had zero right to do so. By the end of it we had confirmed our date for Saturday, but everything was fuzzy and he said he'd call. He didn't. I finally text him this morning and still haven't heard back. I simply asked if we were still on for Saturday night. It's been 10 hours. Should I bother texting again explaining/apologizing for my behavior or just forget it? I rarely date & don't usually drink on a date, but I was extremely comfortable & let my guard down.
pyramid Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I would apologize, but don't over-explain, keep it short and sweet. Don't ask again about Saturday though.
SantistaUSA Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 So he left you by yourself so he can go buy drinks to other girls to help his friend hook up with them? I'm sorry but that is just rude from his part, he could have you with him and still help out his friend, actually I think it would be easier to "help" his friend if you were there. Maybe he ended up getting one of the girls numbers. I could be wrong but if you gave him a hard time or overacted you should apologize ONCE and let it go. 1
kaylan Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 ^I dont see what he did wrong. She invited him out to a bar along with her friends. So it wasnt a 1 on 1 date. This bar also happened to have his own friends there, so why couldnt he go hang with them for a quick second?

That is true, but she invited for him to go with her, I don't see a problem for him to go over to talk with his buddies, but at the time he starts buying drinks to other girls to me shows disrespect hence why her bartender friends asked her about it ;-)
