soifnaegvbaoeaiegoaobgaiou Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I knew it. I knew if I maintained NC, she'd say something. I wasn't doing it for that purpose, but I know how she is. She sent me a text today. "What Am I To Say - Sum 41" I had never heard that song, so I looked up the lyrics. It's a freaking break-up song. I haven't talked to or heard from her in 2 weeks to the day. Ugh. I deleted the text. Haven't replied, don't plan on it. But now she has my mind racing, like always. Why would she put me towards something like that? If I don't want to talk to someone, and this individual has already stated they won't talk to me, and hasn't for 2 weeks, why would I bother sending something to reinforce that?
xanitus Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 shes playing games. She's probably missing you. You did the right thing. Remain NC.
Tropi_cali510 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 same **** happened to me the other day, i remained no contact, yet she sent a text saying why did i deactivate my fb so she can respond to my message, which was a few days old, anyways i was feeling good then after she text me she was racing threw my mind like crazy, and i texted her back and said something dumb like if you got anything to say call me if not than whatever, since then no call, no text, i probably would call her or text her but i deleted her number, i still dont get why girls play these kinda of games of responding then not, like i dont wanna chase you can things just go back to normal.
Author soifnaegvbaoeaiegoaobgaiou Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 I'm done playing games. I'm done chasing her when that's all she wants and doesn't care about what happens after I catch her. At this point, I'm remaining NC, and barring an incredibly convincing act that shows she actually does intend for things to be different (which I've never held out for before), I'm not going to speak to her. I've let her manipulate me too much. She wants me to say something I'm sure. Or she's feeling guilty. I don't care. I have my own life to live and these games don't help.
HumptyDumpty Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I'm sorry for you! But someone who can't communicate properly with you and send you a BU song without any explanation isn't worth wasting your time! Now, you can directly ask her why she sent you this! I mean, as a music-lover, it could be that she only appreciated the existent (or non-existent) harmonics of the tune And then wait for her answer (which I'm sure, will also be as clear as muddy water) Or, ignore her and wait for something more concrete! Sending songs with some heart wrenching lyrics? That's childish! And to be honest, one song out of two treats love or heart breaks, so it's not even... original? I'm positive about giving exes a chance, but only if it can be handled in a mre mature adult-like way! People often have troubles expressing this, it should be taken in account too! But if she sends a songtitel with no explanation instead of a "hey, lets catch a coffee and talk" typathing, do not get bothered, you have every right to stay lazy and not reply
