lunaheart Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 More than a month ago I joined this site in desperation when my ex said he no longer wanted to try anymore and that he had no feelings towards me anymore. I was completely broken and the only thing I wanted to hear was ways that I would get him to come back to me. When nothing seemed to work I began not caring anymore. Why care about someone that doesn't care about you? I stopped caring when he tried contacting me, made myself unavailable, met new people, hung out with friends, and just genuinely was enjoying my summer. A lot of guys showed me their interest and I believe he made a realization... he began talking to me again telling me things he hasn't said since we began going out more than two years ago. I haven't seen him act like this in so long. When I showed him I wasn't really too interested in speaking to him his emotions were even stronger & this moved me. He's been away on vacation and texts me everyday. He tells me how he can't wait to come home & see me, and he asked me on a date to the Aquarium on Sunday. I just want everyone to know that even in the worst situations, whether you get back with this person you loved or not, you'll be happy. And there can be hope even in the dark. and never forget to take care of yourself first and never stop your life for anyone. That is my best advice 2
Misfortune Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Good stuff. Just continuing living your own life; don't become too codependent. NYC aquarium? I worked there in '11, haven't been back in 2 years. Have fun.
templeofmax Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Just be careful because he may be just jealous you started moving on with your life, so he wants you to be at arms reach! Just be careful getting your hopes up so much. 1

Tropi_cali510 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 yeah i agree, if its meant to be its meant to be, if the situatuion turns out bad, learn from the mistakes, take the positives out of it, better yourself and teach yourself what youve learned and one day youll meet the right one. untill then...lol 1
