napy666 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Come this September it will have been 3 years since my ex and I broke up and to this day and time it still bugs me a bit. I have tried to move on and have dated and met other new guys etc. But I just keep thinking about it, our break up was the same month as my BDay around the same time so every year I may end up thinking about that break up. What should I do?
Philosoraptor Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 What have you been doing for yourself over the past few years? Not saying you haven't been, but healing requires personal internal growth, not only external and new relationships.
theonlyjuan Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Are you thinking about it every day of the year? If it's recent it's just a trigger memory, because it is close to your birthday you are reminded of it. You have to make yourself happy. Besides love life, are you happy with your life and yourself? Change something for the better. You do not need someone else to make you happy
heartbroken1357 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Try get a new job, treat yourself to a suit/dress, and find a hobby you can get completely lost in, that's what i did
Tropi_cali510 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Man up! No matter how ****ty you feel go workout, go work extra hours, go buy a new fit, go wash your car, get so confident the next girl you pull won't do this to you, get over it, learn from it, and last but not least man up
Keenly Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Start by getting a job and moving out of your parents house. It will do wonders for your self esteem.
