MrTurk Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 So after a month hiatus, and against my own better judgment, I joined a dating site again. Started communicating with an attractive local woman, few years younger than me. After a few emails back and forth, she states she recently moved here from Florida(red flag #1). Then she mentions how she has 2 kids, but she signed over custody to her ex so her kids would have a better upbringing(red flag #2) Third, I find out she also has no car after recently hitting another car.(red flag #3) How come the women that have their sh*t together ignore me…but train wrecks like the one above are willing to meet me??? I can just imagine how big of a leech she probably is, and I sure don't need that black cloud that follows her around.
King_Crimson Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Are you saying you'd have to be insane to move from Florida to Ohio? 2

Author MrTurk Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 Are you saying you'd have to be insane to move from Florida to Ohio? Lol no. But the area I live in, is a very economically depressed area. And from MY experience in the dating world, when I see single moms that say they recently moved here…9 times out of 10 it's a precursor to a red flag lurking undercover. I go off of what women have proved with their actions. And when you include her other issues…and the way she slowly revealed them to me, rather than writing all of it in her profile, shows me that there's even more baggage to be uncovered.

Haha, I see now. I thought it was a bizarrely picky dig on Florida. 1
Author MrTurk Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 I will not exclude a woman just for moving here. All I'm saying is that if they don't have a logical reason for it(work, closer to family, etc) than I log it and keep it on the back burner, talking with her more checking to see if her stories relate to a positive situations, or if she is continually in negative ones. I think women will relate more since they tend to analyze guys and their habits, work history, dumb incidents, and such more than men analyze women.
TheGuard13 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 So wait a minute... You're calling these things "red flags", despite not apparently knowing the context or details of them, because they "might indicate something"? I always thought "red flags" were actual issues. Not issues that may or may not exist. 1
