King Bowls Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 So the same girl I've posted about a few times on here, I had a dream that we Facebook messaged. There hasn't been a day since September 15, 2012 that I have not thought about her, and There are a lot of songs that remind me of her. We stopped talking because she didnt want to anymore, September 15 was the last time we ever talked in any way. I still can't stop thinking about her even though since then I've seen many girls who are more attractive, and even talking to different girls, I can't get my mind off her. Is it love or what? Ill answer any other questions
iKING Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Crush territory. Love is a whole other kind of crazy. 1
Divasu Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Hmmm... I think only YOU can define what it is/or isn't... I can pinpoint exactly when that moment has been... And shortly after the lightbulb went off, I was walking back to my car one day thinking about him...slipped and slid feet first half way under my car. 1

pteromom Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 No, this isn't love. It's infatuation; a crush. You've built up a fantasy of her in your mind, and no other woman comes close to your fantasy. And every time you "can't stop thinking about her", you are fueling the fantasy and keeping it alive. Talk to other girls - even if they don't seem to measure up. Date. Eventually, you will get over her.
Divasu Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Now that's love. Heehee, well, it certainly was the definition of falling in love.
Author King Bowls Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Well when I mean think about her daily, that means many times daily, even to songs that aren't in my mind as those that "remind me of her". I've wanted to many times since the last time I saw her, cuddle with her, talk to her, but she doesn't want to talk anymore, and like I said we haven't talked since September. I've even fantasized about living on a big ranch In south texas, just me and her living in a cedar wood house, with 10,000 acres of brush country.

Well I've talked to multiple girls since, and have seen many who are more attractive, and still can't get her off my mind. And the girl im talking about, I've only seen twice, other than that we texted. The times I saw her was when I went to her house
Author King Bowls Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 And a dream I had last night made me want to ask about this
iKING Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Crush + One that got away syndrome. It's the unknown that intrigues us. Love is a different playing field in my book, but then again that's likely because I've had the feelings you've described about a million times. Unless I've just been in love a million times.
Divasu Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 And a dream I had last night made me want to ask about this The dream doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of love. It just means, that she is on your mind. It doesn't sound like you've actually dated each other, but rather, you're admiring her from a distance? Have you been in love before? Maybe compare this to that to see if you can bring a little bit of clarity to the situation.
Author King Bowls Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 I wish I could put all my thoughts on her in text but I don't know what words to use and it's a lot. Difficult to do. I've even planned on hanging out with other girls on occasions and at the time, it seemed to take this girl off my mind, but when the next day rolls around, it goes back to being all over her

We didnt date, but we texted and wanted to see each other badly, hell we slept together when she already had a boyfriend (it wasn't my idea, and she wanted it). And I only have seen her a few times, and this is the way I've. There have been girls I've been really crazy about in the past, I don't know if I was truly "in love" or even if I was at all with them. And the girls in the past I was crazy about, when we were done talking or whatever I was able to move on once I found another one to talk to alot. Not the case with this girl

Not the case with this girl Sounds like all things are pointing to unrequited since she wasn't available (the boyfriend). You should also consider what you are prolonging...If it was okay for her to cheat on her boyfriend with you, what makes you think she wouldn't do the same to you down the road? You are pining for someone who is not available. 2
