ex wants me to be with someone else?!?!

So my ex wants me to learn from our relationship and find someone else. says she can't love me anymore and I deserve more. She said dont make the same mistakes I made with her. Says i have the potential to be amazing. is she basically saying she never wants to give me another chance?? are her emotions just over doing it at this stage?

She's saying these things to feel less guilt. They always act like saints/sages after crushing you. My ex told me the same. They want you to find someone else so they can say "I to.d you so. I told you we weren't meant together." They want to come off as good and caring.

She sounds like she's definitely past it. I'm going to give you some old advice because I don't know how long you were together. If you EVER want her to want you back, shut down all communication from your end. No crying, begging, questions. Leave it alone. After a few days she'll start to think hard. When she calls or texts don't respond right away and be very brief. Only respond by text. Eventually, and it won't take long, if she really loves you this will wake her up and she'll be on the path back torward you. If not, she was gone a long time ago mentally with her feelings for you.

Just because they can jump from relationship to relationship without any breaks, doesn't mean we can, will or want to. Don't let her control you. Be your own person and do what feels right for you.
