What was the longest NC you had before the MM/MW

He had DDay, we met a couple days later to say goodbye, and complete NC started. It was gut wrenching, agonizing pain. Our A was in full swing when so abruptly cut off, but we were both married with no plans to leave, so that was the deal.

 

Made it 4.5 months when he called me from a newly purchased burner phone. I was on a family vacation, we talked for an hour, I was in complete shock for a few days after. He called again about a week later, and we resumed our A underground, which was a crappy shell of the relationship we used to have. He ended it via email a couple months later, saying he was living in constant fear & guilt and he will never be happy like this and he is through risking his family.

 

I did not reply and we've had NC since then. It's been 3 months.

 

I think he used the time we were underground to get over me gradually, and I don't think I will ever hear from him again as he took that time to wean off his feelings for me.

With my PA some years ago, we ended it, went NC and have been ever since. Not a word, a text, an email, nothing. That was six years ago.

 

With my EA, four weeks. Then five days of on/off contact, and now ten days again of NC. And here I wait to see how long it will be before he contacts me, and yes, deep down inside I do hope it is sooner rather than later, but from my side I shall remain NC.
