Babolat Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Hmm...I'm a natural redhead, great smile, successful career, honest, independent spirit, intelligent, sense of humor, strong values, and I'm a great mother and friend. Now if I could find my male counterpart or at least one to complement me, I'd be all set. Applications are being accepted. And where does one find and fill out this application?
Babolat Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Ok yes I'm stalking you but are you kidding me? Your intelligence? That's all you got? Phoe, I'm sure you are intelligent, no doubt about it. But I just looked at your photos. You're freakin adorable! And your personality rocks. I haven't been able to detect any "crazy" in you either so that's another plus. Modesty is a good trait, but not when it runs into self defeatism territory. I sense a bit of low self esteem in you and I think that's why you end up men who don't treat you the way you deserve. Low self esteem is pretty easily detectable and there are people of low character who will take advantage. You start believing more in yourself...keep the modesty, but learn how to be confident at the same time, and I think it will do wonders for your dating life. I know what I'm saying might sound all fortune cookie-ish, but I've got a LOT of experience under my belt in relationships and people in general and what I'm saying is very very true. +1, YOU are adorable...sexy too with a little tom byo edge.
Babolat Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 It's not so much what you are saying (which does make sense) it's HOW you are saying it and even the fact that you are saying it which led me to my low self esteem comment. Of course there people just as good as you. There are people just as good as me. I would hope so because I think Im pretty great and the world could use more people like you and I. But I don't think about any of that. I don't compare myself to anyone else. I can't...because I'm ME. There's no one else out there like me and that is my biggest selling point. I'm irreplaceable...to the right person. You just need to realize that you represent a one of a kind, unique package. No one else is like you. People are amazing in the variances of all the different personalities, character traits, likes and dislikes, shapes and sizes, fetishes, desires, hates, etc, etc. it's not you vs them. It's not anybody vs anybody. It's just you, knowing what you want, and not being afraid to get it, even if it means passing over some decent options. I think it's context and she comes across "electronically" on here. As like you, prior to looking at her photos, seeing a sexy adorable woman with some spunk, I felt the same.
KungFuJoe Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 +1, YOU are adorable...sexy too with a little tom byo edge. Well, gee...thanks. ...oh wait...were you talking about Phoe? 1
Red Wolverine Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 And where does one find and fill out this application? It's an ongoing process. Starts with an acknowledgement that he is intelligent and also appreciates the same in me. Then he has to make me laugh and vice versa. Life's to hard if you're stupid and boring. Everything else I can work with. 1
tbf Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I like to think I'm smart - as you can see I also like to keep a level of modesty .You are intelligent. That's obvious from your posts. As far as modesty is concerned, when someone's always self-effacing, that's just another way to solicit compliments and validation. It's a form of social manipulation where give me someone honest and realistic about their strengths, any day of the week. 2

Sometimes people really don't think very highly of themselves...
tbf Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Or it could be just an expression of low confidence. Sometimes people really don't think very highly of themselves...If you look around LS, it's the best way to solicit attention and make threads all about you. 2
tbf Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 That's subjective. Not with TW. It's how he frames his posts where it's more about the thought processes that go into how he arrives at his conclusions. As a guess, his g factor must be pretty high.
fortyninethousand322 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 If you look around LS, it's the best way to solicit attention and make threads all about you. I don't doubt that people are self effacing as a tactic to get compliments. I just think that's not the only reason to be self effacing.
Author MrNate 2.0 Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) What are you people going on about on this page....... I want to see a continuance of the celebration of our strengths. Edited August 14, 2013 by MrNate 2.0
Author MrNate 2.0 Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 For example: TBF is a firey combination of great looks and intelligence. She even had time to stop for a quick photo while she was busy in the lab. 4

As like you, prior to looking at her photos, seeing a sexy adorable woman with some spunk, I felt the same. I can definitely understand the "electronic" vibe, the way I type and my use of vocabulary definitely might come off as a bit clinical, but I do think in real life describing me as a woman with spunk is pretty spot on.. My coworkers call me sassy haha
MrTurk Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Nothing according to the women that live near me 2
sweetkiwi Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 So what is it about you that brings the boys/girls to the yard? Is it your charm? Personality? Your physical features? Maybe you're the loud, charismatic type..or maybe one who's a bit more laid back and a smooth talker. ( goes for women too) Or..maybe you're more cerebral, and your intellect rounds them up. Or maybe it's more a specific body parts? That lovely chest, ass...or you may have them swole arms. Lets discuss. I suppose what attracts them at first would be my physical attributes and my energy. But when they get to really know who I am, that's what makes it or breaks it. I am a free person who can be loud and the life of a party. Or the stay at home person who wants nothing more than to cuddle with that special someone. I am creative, expressive, and sometimes overly protective to the point of irritation. I burp, know which fork to use, have been known to pee the bed, have basic manners, and can be brutally honest. Sometimes my armpits smell like onions but I love giving head so you win some ya lose some. It's easy to bring guys to my yard. I am crazy, in a good way, and others like me are attracted to that. And if they actually SEE me, know who I am, and still want to stay in my yard, they deserve to be there. And get all the great stuff along with the bad. 3

sweetkiwi Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I love crazy chicks Good luck with that babe. Hopefully they know they are crazy and don't try to pass as a normal person. Or hopefully you can differentiate between the "I'll drink a bottle of tequila and make out with your best girlfriend" crazy and the "I'll pretend to be awesome till you look at another woman and I claw her eyes out then piss on your shoes to mark my territory" crazy . 3

Thankfully, my wife is the former (very much so) and not the latter!

ltjg45 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I burp, know which fork to use, have been known to pee the bed, have basic manners, and can be brutally honest. I don't know why but I do find that to be a turn-on for me. Another part is the "brutally honest" part. I'm the exact same way. If you ask me for my opinion, I don't care if what I said offends you at the end. I will tell you what is on my mind. and that's the end of it. If you don't like it and becomes an enemy to me afterwards, get in line.
Author MrNate 2.0 Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 I feel inspired to buy a new cologne.
