Recently there's been a huge student-teacher affair trending in my town and he was a married man.

People have even gone out and made memes for this situation. But I come to think that it's quite rude and immature to be making jokes knowing there's people who were close to that teacher or that homewrecker.

I'm curious to know, if any have or known a friend who did cheat and how'd you react when you found out. For me, when I found out that my niece was like that I was just like "Oh" smh.

I love how the teacher that's being inappropriate with a student is "the teacher", while the student gets "home wrecker"

double standards are just awesome! :p

So when you found out that your niece was having an affair with a teacher, your reaction was just 'Oh', really?

meaning that you don't really care?

& of course I care. but she's family I wasnt going to slap her across the face. It's none of my business. If I was secretly made an accomplice for the times she sneaked out to see this OP I'd be furious. But we'd still be talking to each other again in the end.

But thanks so do so much for answering my question you two.

Depends on how much drama one's family or friends like...

I've only had one situation where I've been friends with a cheater. I met them as a couple and became very good friends with both of them. Their relationship lasted for 3 years after I met them.

The guy who I considered a friend turned out to have been cheating on his girlfriend who I was also friends with for the better part of the last two years of the relationship. He was meeting random women when he was traveling interstate for business and having ONS with them.

His girlfriend was oblivious until one day she stumbled on on of the sites he had been trawling for women which he had stupidly left auto logged in.

I could never look at him the same way again. Our friendship broke down. He ended up moving away because his reputation with most of his friends was ruined.

This attitude is disgusting and it's part of the reason why the US is in both a moral and economic crisis right now.

What do I do when my friends cheat? I tear them a new one. They are adding to the problem.

If they don't want to be friends with me after that, then that's fine. Cheaters make poor friends, ime.

Because this is a teacher / student thing ..If this is high school....she can only be a victim. This is omething that happened to her, not something she did.

He is a professional, trusted with our children, I'm sure his wife, children, parents are mortified.
