yes, she has seen her therapist twice this year. (6 months ago and 3 months ago) She is a not a marriage counselor, she's a sexual trauma & anxiety therapist for women

I think that's a step in the right direction.

Sexual trauma haunts a person, so it's good that she's open to seeking help for that.

Why so few sessions though?

Because I don't believe her heart is IN moving on.

I think she's checked out and isn't really trying.

OP, what action did you take against your brother for his crime against his niece?

I haven't checked your last threads...I'm asking what stance you took, and how you reacted...

What's your relationship with him now?

If you believe your wife is mentally ill, then she needs professional mental health counseling, not a marriage counselor. she needs both Why has it taken so many years to make that happen?
it hasn't. And it's complicated. Like I said, she started seening a womens trauma counselor many years ago. I just wish she'd see her more often. She probably won't see a general psychiatrist because she doesn't believe any thing is wrong with her besides her anxiety

I have no idea. I've seen her come home frustred though. I just have no idea why or what they talk about. Very tightlipped.
