Ended up going out and meeting this nice guy who was a local. We hung out most of the night and he ended up coming back to our hotel and we had sex. He ended up staying for a bit afterwards but then his mate called him from another club so he said he had to go. He asked for my mobile number and I walked him out. Didn't expect to hear from him again but hes like if you're free tomorrow we should hang out. Anyway that never happened so I was content he just asked for my number to be polite. He knew I was only there for the weekend. Now, exactly a week later I get a text from him asking how I was and did I get back home okay? Why would he bother texting me if he knows I'm from another state and why would he have left it for a week? Is this normal? What do you think his motives are?

I've never done anything like this before, it's my first proper one night stand. He was really fun though and it's only a 2 hour plane trip. What do you guys think? 1

I dont see why you cant go back if you like him and the place. Its a bit of a trip and time getting to and from airport and $ just to see a ONS guy, but if you think he was pretty good and you will just consider it a weekend away with some fun, then go for it.
crederer Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Well most likely a booty call. But maybe he was nervous to text you back right away and then felt bad about it a week later. I can say I have done that myself before and it had nothing to do with anything other than me being a wimp.

Standard-Fare Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I say you do not/cannot buy PLANE tickets for a second meetup with a one-night stand. A two-hour flight is a big deal for that kind of situation. If he was in your own town/city, that'd be another story... but he's not. Also, he blew the chance to get to know you a little more when you actually were still in town. He even didn't bother to spend the night with you -- he left after sex to hit another club? Don't put that time and expense into this. Think about how inconvenient it is on your end vs. convenient on his. 2
