abfchgirlx Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Have any of you had a long distance relationship that was about 300-800 or more miles away? Did you guys end up moving witch each other? I've known this guy for two years. Thought he was annoying at first but things just blossomed as of late. I'm suppose to fly out for new years just to show him that I'm for real. I'm just afraid of what to do if things become real. I just moved to this other place too. Anyway, just looking for people with the similiar story!
mixwell Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 im about 1500 miles away from my love.. too bad she wanted to break up cuz the LD relationship.. we've been together for 8 years and all and i left california and moved to arkansas about a month ago.. i cannot stand it though and i am moving back out of this $hit hole and moving back out there the end of this month.. the thing is though this little LD thing has messed us up and now when i get back out there i have to try and get her back.. so im in the same boat as you.. im young too im only 21.. anyways i think i have as bad if not worse than you (but again i am moving back the end of this month) i know it sucks like arse but now i know that i would never leave her again !!! Hope this cheers you up or lets you know that yer not alone -=) MixweLL
KitCat Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I'm 4000 miles away from my boyfriend of a year. We've been apart the entire year and it's working wonderfully. I think it depends on the relationship and the person... not the distance between you. But yes... it's hard... but we like to think it makes us stronger and prepares us to easily solve other future problems since we've been through so much. I only get to see him 1-3 times a year though.. for about 2 weeks at a time. It's also seeming like it'll be a while before we can be together (years more) but we're prepared to do what it takes. If he's worth it... stick it out. It'll be okay
bluechocolate Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I lived in the same country as my partner for two years & then had to go away for two, from the UK to Australia !! We had a couple of months holidays & then I decided to move back here - that was 5 years ago - so it does work. I'm suppose to fly out for new years just to show him that I'm for real. Have you two spent much face-time together?
