She thinks I cheated on her because they day after we broke up she came over to the house to pick up her things and food bobby pins in my room. Now I know how it looks and I would think they same thing but they weren't from me. My room mate friend stayed at the house and hooked up with a girl in my room without my knowledge and that is what truly happened. I told her that but it has been over a month since I have talked to her and everyone she has talked to she has told that and am making me look like a bad guy. I feel I have lost some good friends because of this cause we are all from the same high school. But what sucks is that she didn't tell any of them why we broke up and it was because she was talking to her ex and told me she was still in love with him and would do anything for him but that never gets brought up IRS just all about me. I know I should just forget it and leave the people who don't believe me in the past but I have been friends with most of them for well over ten years. Just meets some advice.

She knows she did you wrong and finding those bobby pins was just the excuse she needed in order to convince herself that dumping you was the right choice. That it wasn't all her fault. Finding those bobby pins were a way to forgive herself and demonize you in her head. Think that YOU were the monster all along. She's using that excuse to ease her own guilt.

But, you know the truth so it doesn't matter what she thinks. She's out of your life now, so it doesn't matter. If these friends of yours would have just asked the friend in question, then that's an easy fix. But, if they don't want to find out the truth on their own....well. you can't make them.

Is this your 1st Lying Skank of an ex?

She won't be your last and any 'friend' who made up their mind about your situation without first asking you, you'll be better off without.
