napy666 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I am talking to this one guy online it's a social networking type of site that lets you have a large range of friends from 1 to 10 to 50 to 100 or even 1,000 or more. Anyway this guy has 1,502 friends, and I did some Google searching and all the friends popped up a lot were girls and I read over the comments and stuff and this site also has the ability to put people as certain labels "Engaged to" "Brother of" "Wife of" "Best friend of" and this one girl's profile listed this guy as engaged to her another thing is that this guy is 24 and this girl is 17. And I asked her about it and she says her and him are engaged, and I think from reading the comments this guy just talks to a lot of different girls and flirts with them or tells them "yes we're engaged or yes we're bf/gf" etc. And now I think he's doing the same to me. What should I do? I did ask him if he was and is engaged or talking to other girls and no reply to that message yet.
Zahara Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 People can't even be honest when they are right smack dab infront of you and you expect some guy on some site to do so? I mean, what in heaven's name would it matter what he told you when he flirts with a lot of girls and tells them whatever he wants to tell them? How could you tell if he was being honest? Just because he says so? Why would you be the exception in that he will give you the god's honest truth?
TheGuard13 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Thought occurs. There's sort of a weird movement where young people put themselves as "married" or "engaged" to people who are just their friends. I had a "son" listed on Facebook who was just my younger friend. It's unlikely that it's that, but you never know. Only one way to find out.
