Curious what people think of casual outings after you meet someone vs. "dates". Like inviting a girl to an event you are going to or to go shopping with you or to meet up somewhere where you will be. I feel that some girls get awkward when a guy says "I want to take you out on a date" and it can be easier on everyone if it is just casual and you can get to know the person with less pressure. After th first outing or two you can then up the ante so to speak. I feel that there is a lot of talk about not falling into the friendzone but if you keep things fun and interesting I am wondering if these types of outing are something that girls would tend to prefer or not.

Try it out and let us know. I am curious about the outcome.

BUMP. I am very curious of this too. Is it better to ask for a casual get together or something like a movie??

I do these sorts of things all the time. Never had any woman refuse to accompany me because I didn't label those things as a "date".

I know that I'm not your target audience for the question but figured I'd throw out my two cents.

For women you need to keep things simple.

"I want to have sex with you using my penis by penetrating your vagina."

That's all you need to say.

:lmao:

I don't know about the D word. I think It's out dated a bit. (Haha..)

Personally I say would you like to go out sometime? Or something relatively similar.

It depends on the event. You walk a fine line between being casual and getting to know the person, and choosing something that makes it really hard to get to know a person better (movies, concerts, big group outings). Dating doesn't have to be a dinner and a movie.

If someone invited me to an event or someplace they'd already be, I'd probably go, but I wouldn't think a guy was interested in me. I'm pretty oblivious though.
