Today I decided that I didn't want to let my ex and her new life make me feel like mine was worthless.

I posted pictures of all the furniture she left behind on facebook and it feels good to be getting rid of it.

It's hard to say goodbye to our old life together, but she has, so I should too.

How long do people mostly wait til they get back into dating? I have some set up but I feel weird about it, mostly like I'm not ready or am not as into it as I should be. I want to be though, if not just for the fact that my ex is already declaring love for OM after a month and a half. (Maybe it was going on longer....dunno.)

Anyways, this is a step in the direction of being completely rid of her.

Expunge whatever you need to from your life to start new.

You can start dating whenever you feel up to it, only make it serious when you feel 100% ready. Don't let her speed dictate yours though. Who cares what she is doing?

It's just hard to know she's bounced back superbly and I'm stuck in this empty house. It's like hanging around in the wake of our old life. When I move to the new spot in a week or so, I'm sure my spirits will be better.

Right now, I'm stuck in shouldve couldve mode. Which I know is not healthy, she got GIGS and has confirmed that the grass IS greener. and I don't want to care about what she's doing, I just want to have some good stuff happen for me too.

She cheated, she was messing with my head this whole month. So she sucks. I just need to realize that I'll meet someone better. Trying to better myself now. Going to a therapist Monday, eating better. Just felt like posting cos it's good to get insight instead of dwelling or seeing things in the wrong light.

Feels fantastic. I dumped an entire dresser full of stuff in the dumpster. I suggest you do the same .

Step by step into moving toward a more rewarding future. You'll know when dating feels right. Stay in the present. Yesterday has passed and tomorrow is not yet here.
