Even after a falling out, a bad one at that, were two people in an ex relationship talk absolute smack about each other, to each other and to mutual friends, they both go on dates, though the guy backs out of them, whereas the girl enters into a relationship. If, and only IF that relationship failed (because at the moment I don't know if it has), and the only contact the 'original' guy and girl has made has been after two months - and the girl was cold towards the guy - is there a way AT ALL, that anything between them could 'start up' again, as though things were new between them? Or isn't that possible.

So many reconciliations fail because someone couldn't let go of the hurt, anger, betrayal, or any other negative emotion or feeling they had from the previous relationship. 1
templeofmax Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Mine did fail afterwards because my insecure ex could not let go of the fact that I am close to my sister, even after I made some changes to have her more as priority as it should be of course. Most fights were about this, or other hypothetical girls. she does need time to grow up and increase her self-esteem and I also need some time to control my anger as sometimes she drove me nuts and I yelled at her or chased her around. It was unhealthy and it would continue to be if we don't do the changes necessary. Do I miss her and love her? Yes. Her, probably, although her silence and immaturity would show me otherwise. But only time apart could actually help us if any chance its possible.
