So there's this girl I met a couple of weeks (like three) back at my college. She was amazing, 8/10 all day, absolutely hilarious. I stood in back of her for some admissions line that took 2 hours or so (we didn't even notice because we we're talking so much). Anyways right before I leave, I ask for her number, and she tells me that she hasn't had a phone for the past two years, so instead she gives me her Facebook, going through the trouble herself of getting a pen and paper from the front and writing her name. We even hugged goodbye lol.

Two days later I added her and we started some real small talk, I threw a couple of flirtatious jabs. I really didn't want to get into much, because that's what the first date is for. A week and a half went by of me and her just talking over Facebook at really random times and stuff. So I finally decided to ask her if I could take her out that week. She responded by saying "That sounds nice :)" but then pulls out an "excuse" (maybe) that she's busy the next two weeks due to having family over at her house, she apologized twice with all kinds of sad faces and then said "SORRY IF I SOUND RUDE! :(" I really didn't give it much thought but said that it was cool because I know how it's like when family comes over and stuff. Told her that if after the two weeks were up if we could set something up for then and she responded with "Sure x]" I never messaged her back since that and this Tuesday the two weeks are up. I was thinking on initiating contact again today and then asking her tomorrow or even today to go out next Wednesday or Friday.

So guys, is this the way to handle it? Or is there a better way to do it or is this all just a lost cause at this point? I'm just really into this girl but have been seriously mad busy since the time I stopped messaging her. Sighhh lol.

You should try to communicate with her....see what happens.

IMHO I think you may have blew it. Instead of getting her facebook page why didnt you just set up a date with her then?

I don't think he blew it.

But she is clearly not interested. No one is so busy that they don't have time for at least coffee or lunch. Also… I call bull at the whole no phone thing..
