Hi everyone. Me and my ex have been broke up for two weeks and within that two weeks she has initiated small talk. Things like 'what type of new bike should I buy' etc etc. we were together eight months and we broke because of her jealously and failing to understand that I'm an honest guy but she always thought I kept things from her, which I didn't. All her previous guys have been liars and I think she put me in that boat from day one.

She would always question my past and ask questions about other girls etc etc. I've never had anything to hide. She called me Wednesday eve saying that her friend saw me out with a girl, when actually I was out with a group of three people in nandos, not just one girl.I wouldnt move on that quickly.I explained that we had broken up and that I didn't have to explain myself anymore. I said it in a nice way.

The day after she text me in the morning asking if we can meet for coffee to talk. When we met she didn't mention anything and was just chatting about normal stuff and it was comfortable conversation. At the end she found it hard to walk away but my mind is scrambled. I love the girl but I'm at the end of my rope with the jealously and I think 'when's the next time ill get questioned etc' as it started to pull me down.

We had the best times together and when it's just me and her its so good! But I can't live my life being questioned and watching what I say in case she gets grumpy over the response I give. Advice would be great, thanks for reading

has she fundamentally changed since you two broke up? Is she no longer jealous?

The Answer: she has not fundamentally changed. she is still jealous.

That will never work. What now..move on. if she changes, one day you may see it. dont wait around though.

Two weeks isn't enough time.

It could only work if she could take steps to get over her stuff. Otherwise you'd just break up again. You can never have a relationship where you have to live in fear of saying the wrong thing.

But if you do love each other and she's willing to put in the work to make a change, then the sky's the limit.
