What do you say, after, HI!???

Man, I am just kicking myself. Whenever I go to the supermarket, I would see a girl or two that would like to say Hi, but never can think of what to say after that. Just like tonight I went shopping around 7:30pm I got a couple neat looks from girls. Then I saw this girl who had curly blond hair pinned up and some kinda of sweats i think. Anyways, I saw her on the other end of the store, she turn and we made eye contact.

 

Hmm, I thought... I turn down the aisle looking for some dishwasher soap. All of sudden, there she is coming towards me. So I looked up at her, she looked at me and I smiled. But she just keeps going. If she would of smile back I was going to say "HI!" So, I turn around because I found my soap finally. And he turn back around and went passed me again. I didn't look this time. So, I checked out my stuff and was bagging my stuff. She walks by again because she was leaving too. "Three strikes you out."

 

I don't know, I have this strange feeling that she was interested too. If I would of just said "Hi" but then what?

 

Any suggestions? Its like I want to have some pre-asked questions. I am just not that good at thinking on my feet.

I joke because I want to point out what the worst is that could happen. What if you don't know what to say and it's awkward? Then you'll stop talking and go check out by yourself, just like you did today.

 

You'll end up in exactly the same spot as today, only without the regret.

 

The kind of girl you want to be with is one who you can talk to easily anyway, so just look at it as part of the process...if she's not easy for you to talk to, then you don't want to be with her anyway. Talking with someone involves two people, so don't put all the pressure on yourself!
