LuxAri6 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I've been talking to this guy I met online for a couple weeks. We went out on a date once and have talked on the phone a few times and we text a little. We get along well and conversation is nice, but I'm not sure that I'm all that attracted to him or would want to start a relationship. I'm giving him a chance though. I don't want to rush into anything with him, but a girl still has needs. I've had this friends with benefits for a couple months now to satisfy those needs and it's working out well. Would it be wrong or would you consider it sort of cheating if I still slept with my FWB while "talking" to the other guy?
CloverField1227 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Do you feel like you could give up the FWB if things ever get serious with this guy? I told my one of my ex's I'd give up cigarettes when I joked about her becoming my GF one day. I never gave up the cigarettes but I did give her up.
KoKo0 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 No, you are dating people, we are not only going to bond relations with one person for the rest of our lives. If things started getting serious between you two, then i would cut off the FWB.
veggirl Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 FFS how "needy" are you? You can't go a month or so without sex while you feel things out with this guy? Do you have fingers? A shower head? A vibrator...? I mean seriously. Would you like it if a guy you were getting to know/dating was ****ing another girl? 5
CC12 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Would it be wrong or would you consider it sort of cheating if I still slept with my FWB while "talking" to the other guy? I don't think it would be wrong. You've been on one date with this new guy and have only known him for a couple of weeks. Why should you change your normal routine for a virtual stranger? You shouldn't hide the fact that you're dating other guys, though, but at this point I wouldn't mention it unless it came up.
runningfar Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I would think it's a little off at the least and distracting. I would stay away from the other guy while you're getting to know someone new.
