How should I approach her?

I'm a sophomore in my high school, and I've been with few other girls. But I've got this particular girl on my mind. She's not one of those Abercrombie or Hollister spoiled beach girls. She is pretty, intelligent, has a good smile, and lights the whole room without those tight jeans and heavy makeup. Trust me, she's one of a kind.

So she's in my PE, how should I approach her for a date? I don't even have her name yet and I'm not the best at initiating and participating in conversations. I would love get her number to take her out to watch Shark Tale or even hangout during lunch and have a good time.

How should I take this matter easily?

Is she a member of any clubs? Like the poetry club? Or drama? If you can find out something she's interested in maybe you could find a school event or community event and invite her? For example: Say she's in a poetry club - find out where local poets or published poets are having readings (they often have these on college campuses) and tell her you were thinking of going but didn't know anyone that'd be interested and since she's a member of such and such club you thought she might like to go.

Is that corny? I don't know..I didn't date in high school. :p

I've found that the easiest way to take the matter is to offer money; but that's just me.

Pocky probably has suggested the much cheaper, and perhaps even as effective route: Stalk her at the Poetry Club.

Pocky where on earth did you go to high school? Miss Hershey Whitman's Primrose School for Young Ladies?

HAH! I'm not good with dating tips for school kids. And I rarely went to school - I was too busy skipping school and hanging out at a place called Cassadaga. A little town in Florida where all the psychics lived. :p

Were the psychics alone, or were the rest of the circus people there (I've heard of a retirement community in FL fo Ringling employees)?

How's the paper writing? Done?

No circus people, but that would have been exciting! It was a cute little town. I stopped going after it became more commercialized and teenagers started showing up looking for ghosts.

Not, yet. Eight pages and counting. I had to watch a few movies, take a nap, bake and now I'm going to carve my pumpkin! Boo!

No way! Don't bring up the report cards.

I'm sorta in the same boat: Gotta prepare powerpoint for presentation in my Fundamentals of Educational Leadership class Tuesday night. I'm sure you, and probably others would get a huge laugh........or perhaps be horrified, to know the subject I have chosen.

Since it is Halloween, I'll assume the later is more probable: The title of Nosmas' presentation:

"RELATIONAL LEADERSHIP: Valuing people first"

BWAHahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! :D

I think I've scared myself silly.
