Stuck in depressed phase after 6 weeks, while being already diagnosed with depression

Just a brief description of my old relationship, we went out for 8 months and I was really in love with her. Anyway she ended it 6 weeks ago because her heart was not in it, which I understand. But my problem is I'm stuck in the depressed stage, which sucks because Ive had depression for a long time through out my life. My question is what I can do to overcome this and moving forward with my life

Just think this is only a small chapter in your life, were in a year from now you'll be wondering why you were so depressed over one girl when there is 7 billion people on the planet god knows how many women. take it a day at a time start working out get that head clearer. im going through the same thing its tough i know all about it, but we cant let this beat us!
