Robert Z Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 No I meant the 50's. The civil rights movement was a series of worldwide political movements for equality before the law that peaked in the 1960s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_rights_movement In the USA, the National Organization for Women (NOW) was created in 1966 with the purpose of bringing about equality for all women. NOW was one important group that fought for the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_rights
hotpotato Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hmm...I think if we are doing low cost date id rather do coffee! I rarely eat fast food and am vegetarian so Taco Bell is a deal breaker...
hotpotato Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Traditionally on a date you go together or if you are together you take the same transportation. Too many cuckoos for that nowadays, on both sides. Unless I was already friends with a guy never let a man drive me around first date....
mammasita Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 BS - I love Taco Bell and would be SO exited to go to Taco Bell on a first date....because I'm a huge fan of corny cheese ball-ness. LOL Matter of fact, I suggested Taco Bell as my restaurant of choice for before Prom dinner. I was out voted 1
Imported Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Well, fine then. No taco supreme for you! Personally, I enjoy eating out because I enjoy eating out. For Mexican food, I know a lot of different mom and pop or small business owners places that have better...actual home made like food, a better ambiance and a plate of food that would stuff me cost @$12 including soda and you can get beer. I'd rather give them my business because I like them. I want to see them succeed. Fastfood places is just too clinical for me.
