I'm a single guy. No ring on my finger. I met a lady this afternoon while at a place where she works. We talked for quite a bit. She kept the conversation going even when I said I was taking too much of her time. No, she wasn't trying to sell me anything! I sensed a mutual spark. I know people will think she was just being nice, BUT she was talking about personal things employees shouldn't ever say on the job, lol.

I checked Linked-In, found her profile connected with the business and she gives a link there to her Facebook page. Her FB profile says she is single and interested in men. She posted on FB this morning and looks to be an active user.

Is it fine to contact a lady through FB to ask for her cell number to talk some more? Or ... do ladies get asked-out a lot on FB that it's lame now?

Why not just go back to where she works in a day or so and ask for her number?

I'd be fine with it and she might be flattered by the fact that you looked her up and found her.

(Alternative to that is that she may think your a creeper or a stalker, but you've gotta take a chance if you think there's chemistry.)

Now I've had guys friend me on facebook and then "show up" at places that I've checked in and just stare from a distance on a very regular basis. I would suggest not doing that. :-p

So, playing the devil here, if you message her and she ignores it because it's creepy, would you be able to walk back in to where she works and approach her again? I think not. Creepy AND lame.

Agree with MrTurk.

Thats the problem with getting a date. Its a total f'n crap-shoot with each individual woman. You can have 100 women telling you its creepy, but you do it anyways, and she thinks it was cute.

I sent a FB message. She replied with a happy face, her cell number, and she wrote to call tonight. She answered pretty quickly, so I doubt she even looked through my FB profile. I looked more at her FB profile. Everything looks fine, except one pic has something that could resemble a cigarette in her hand. It could be a plastic utensil handle, can't tell. I don't date smokers. So I will ask her about this in the phone conversation. Fingers crossed!

It's only creepy if she is not interested, but some times men have to do creepy things if they want to get anywhere.

Not really, or hardly little at all.

Then I'm either completely unattractive/undesirable OR finding the wrong men. LOL
