What An Ending ?

Although I have deleted all of my ex boyfriends messages, phone number etc and have so far successfully managed 11 days of "No Contact" (VERY HARD TO DO) !!!, one thing that seems to play over in my mind was the last text message he sent to me, he said "You mean more to me that anything you always will" and "I will never forget you ??? ", he finished with "Goodbye Honey, I will always love you. XXXX. I know that deep down in my heart that it's over between us, (i'm heartbroken) it was an LDR. I'm moving on slowly day by day. The question i'm asking is do you think there is the slightest chance that he might have meant any of it or is it pretty much a general line that all "Dumpers" use ??? Please don't be too harsh with the replies guys, break it to me as gently as you can, thanks.

No one knows for sure. He may have meant it. He may have just wanted to be sweet and end off on a good note. I've heard this before and it usually means they care, just not enough to continue the relationship.
