grace777 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Okay, so I'm a lesbian. I met this amazing girl on match 9 months ago. We pretty much were talking weekly for that entire time. She lived in another state and then moved to where I live. We met. It was so much fun - tons of effortless conversation, laughter, good banter, etc. We were only committed to meeting for a drink or two, but ended up spending the next 10 hours that day together. She then invited me to hang for brunch the next day - so we spent another 3 hours together. There was a strong vibe, but no hookup. We both want to establish a friendship first. I texted her a few days later and we had a brief text convo. Then I asked her out a week later for this weekend -- and I've gotten no response. What happened here? I'm super confused because it seemed to be going great. Now she's just gone silent. I don't want to nag her, but I'm really confused. Who spends that much time together and then just blows the person off? Do any of you have insight or advice? Thank you!
Author grace777 Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 Yeah - but a part of me is afraid I'm getting the brush off. So I don't want to appear needy...because I'm not. I just really liked her, but I do have a great life without her. I just don't understand what changed. Or maybe I was imagining things? But still, that's a lot of time to spend with someone you don't enjoy being around. Any other advice?
