buzzie2 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I found it very interesting when I recently read that men tend to fall in love quicker than women do. Do you agree with this statement or do you think it's false? And if you do agree with it, why?
Pyro Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 There's no way to determine which gender falls in love quicker. It is even for all that we know.
soccerrprp Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 OP, Where did you read that guys fall in love sooner? I don't see that. In fact, my experience is that the ladies fall sooner, but that's just my experience. Perhaps the guys "fall in LOVE" sooner, but the ladies get, otherwise, emotionally invested (not love) sooner than guys? Don't know....
MrCastle Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Men fall in lust quicker. Women fall in love quicker. Generalizations of course, but...yeah. 1
BluEyeL Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 My therapist told me that indeed men, on average, tend to fall in love faster than women. Women are often in love with the idea of having a boyfriend before being in love with the guy, that doesn't mean they fall in love. 1
Author buzzie2 Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 I read that in the book Ten Stupid Things Men Do To Mess Up Their Lives. It was written in 1997 by Dr. Laura Schlessinger. She is a very popular doctor that has a radio show and has written many books.
wsid Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I dont know about falling in love quicker But I do think women fall out of love quicker
BluEyeL Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I don't like Laura Schlessinger. She insists that women must stay home, which I completely disagree with, duuh, I have a career.
sillyanswer Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I found it very interesting when I recently read that men tend to fall in love quicker than women do. Do you agree with this statement or do you think it's false? And if you do agree with it, why? It sounds like a crazy generalisation and even if it's true I'm struggling to see any value in knowing it since, in a dating context, we're talking about just one man and just one woman who may or may not be close to this statistical norm. 1
