^ How do you know he was out of your league?

I keep thinking that I'm not good enough for any of the cuties out there too.

super good looking alpha male type. the kind who gets his pick up all the girls. I don't really stand out and I'm not good at asserting myself. It takes a certain type of girl to attract a guy like and I ain't it :o

I'm sorry to hear that happened. Out of your league? Like, how far?

Waaay far. But it's ok - - I figure - - at least I got the nerve to approach him. Even if it did cost me $90 in personal training sessions. Oh well and yeah - - that's the other reason why. Don't mean to stereotype but he is a personal trainer. I figure flirting comes with the territory as well...

Ahhh personal trainer. He has to work with any women that comes to him

for personal training. Fat, skinny, old, young...Whatever. Don't blame him.

I think you should have hinted or just straight up asked him. $90 is good

money, he must be good with clients than.

I'm not going to try hard or take a long time with this one I like and started to talk to.

But I tend to beat around the bush too cause we of coarse hate rejection but we don't

want to come on too strong too.

Mark any updates with Sarah?

No, I was out biking around earlier and went past her house and her car wasn't there. So I don't believe she's home at the time. I'll have to head out in a couple of hours and see if she's around.

Hm - - I think you're reading too much into it. Not that that isn't a normal thing to do with someone you like. It sounds to me like she is interested in you. I don't think any woman - - shy or not would continue to engage someone in conversation if there wasn't an interest there.

As you said no case is general and when it comes to shyness - - that's no exception. I know for me - - I'm shy i certain situations - - like meeting or approaching a guy a like :/

So it's definitely a load off if a guy approaches me, Nerve-wracking yes - but at least i know he's approaching me and because of that I'm happy to meet him halfway and talk with him.

That's not to say I haven't approached guys in the past. I finally got up the nerve to approach a guy after a year of pining over him - - only to get shot down :( and not that's not the first time that's happened. Which is why I'm shy about approaching guys :p

But back to Sarah - - I wouldn't read too much into her motives for continuing to talk to you or the nature of her responses. You'll never know what they are until you give it a shot :)

Good luck!

Right. That's what I think. If she was absolutely, positively uninterested, she would have not replied to anything I say.

Did you read my first post? When I happened to be outside as she walked by the first time when this started all I did was look down the street for a split second from where she was coming from and she was the one to say "hi" first - I didn't say anything. I replied back and that was it. One or two days later, she comes down again, so I decide to ask how she is this time and in turn, she asks me how I am - so this must be somewhat good, otherwise she would not have payed any attention to what I was saying.

This just came to mind: It depends on personality of course, but you know how some girls just say "hi" briefly or curtly if its just a plain vanilla encounter? When she spoke, it was more of a drawn-out, shy-sounding "hi" followed by a smile. You know the kind I'm referring to? There was eye contact which I guess is a good thing.

I do not want to overthink it - I really don't think of it throughout the day or anything but I am having difficulty in resolving a plan of discourse regarding what to do.

Quick update:

I have not seen her here, nor her car. Because of that, I'm on pause regarding the action to be undertaken.

Anyways, to satisfy my wandering curiosity about her I decided to look up her first name and the location in which lives on Facebook. Didn't find anything. So I re-tried this time with the the college she's going to and after some time I found her picture.

I am not the type to send out random friend requests on FB like some do, you know the kind: A mere 1,500 friends and counting. I have like, seven - total.

Do you think it would be inappropriate to send her a message? I am hesitant about doing this because the last thing I want is her thinking I'm going through all of this jazz to find her FB profile. That could be received in a less than congenial manner. Any suggestions?

Any update besides your last post?

Just to give you what is going on with me, she is seeing someone that she met at church (she is one of those Christian singers).

Sorry to disappoint, but no updates so far. She's in college, and moved in on the nineteenth. What I can say is that I will probably be going to the same school though. ;)

However I can't really give a time frame as to when.

I guess I'm waiting for winter break for her to return besides my internal debate about whether I should message her on FB. I don't want to come off in the wrong way and possibly sour a friendship with her beforehand though.

Oh man - sorry to hear that. So I guess you haven't had any pursuits since then?

Well I would say keep your options open and move on. If not her another will

cross your path eventually. Like I would find one eventually.

You're lucky you can go back to school though, again if not her somebody else. Lots

of hot girls at school. My old community college had a lot.

I found that out yesterday from a mutual friend of ours. The friend said she is

the most sought after girl at her church. I am baptized too but I don't like

church even though there are plenty of hotties there. Oh well, I'll just be in that

dreaded friendzone for now.
