therhythm Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 To what refers definitely? I gave two options! Exactly :lmao: 1
sillyanswer Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I'm starting to suspect that it's men. What do you think? I've never asked "does my bum look big in this?". Just saying. 1
TaraMaiden Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Meaning, you're over-thinking it. Just be who you are. Who they are is their problem. 5
Eternal Sunshine Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I've never asked "does my bum look big in this?". Just saying. I always hope that the answer will be yes 2
skydiveaddict Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I'm starting to suspect that it's men. What do you think? women for sure. Make up, hair, clothes, shoes, perfume etc. Girls are obsessed with these things. Should I wear these jeans or that skirt etc. Now I'm not complaining. There is nothing on earth more desirable than a hot looking girl. Plus they can never make up their minds. But I find that kind of attractive too.
letsbeotherpeople Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 People who make random generalisations. 4
joystickd Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Men and women have different things to be insecure about the opposite sex because our motivations are different. It's both. Neither is more insecure than the other. 1
LSTom Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I'm starting to suspect that it's men. What do you think? I'd say about even? The only difference is women will reject men who are insecure where men aren't nearly as harsh as women.
TaraMaiden Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 It's obvious also, that insecurities manifest in different ways: From Clingy to Controlling, from sycophantic to unfaithful.... abstract behaviours within a relationship all point towards "I don't feel important enough/I want to be more important to her/him."
Robert Z Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 And I think I look beautiful in the morning... . I bet you do! My sb was really worried the first time we spent the night together. LOL. Beauty is beauty with or without makeup. I have some very un-photogenic photos of her taken in the morning that she hates and I love. 1
Robert Z Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Yeah... the eternal battle of genders in LS... Every time I read these threads I feel dumber afterwards... Haha, and you thought you had it all figured out. But that was only until you found LS. 1
Revolver Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) I think the reason we feel men aren't as insecure because its not really socially acceptable for men to be insecure in public or show any type of weakness. I mean look at crying. I remember the college star adam Morrison cried in the NCAA tourney and he was heavily criticized and made fun of. I guarantee you if it was a girl the same things wouldn't have been said Because of this many guys portray arrogance and are extremely boastful in public but alot are just fronting Edited July 27, 2013 by Revolver 1
