Mws Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Well I have seen the term "Breadcrumbs" used quite a bit on the site. And I would like to know what it exactly pertains to.
AllTooWell Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Breadcrumbs are messages that your ex sends you that are meaningless (and do not mean they want to get back together.) Such things include but are not limited to: Hey I miss you What're you up to How've you been Are you seeing anybody? I made a mistake You are the best thing that's happened to me Though the person who sends them does NOT KNOW what they are doing - they are subconsciously sending these messages in order to get a reply from you to validate and inflate their ego. By replying, you sign power over to them and let them know you are still hung up on them, still at their beck and call, and still care enough to reply.
Author Mws Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Is it breadcrumbs still if they want to meet in person?
unexpectedlyhere Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Why is "I made a mistake" a breadcrumb? Because they may not be genuine about wanting to get back together? Why would *anyone* say it unless they wanted to reverse their decision!!!!
Misfortune Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Admitting that they made a mistake doesn't always mean that they care to get back together.
