mortensorchid Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I've been silent lately on my own goings on because there has been little until just recently. Until the weekend before last ... I went to a bar on Saturday night (not last weekend but the one before). I was about to leave when I turn around and there is this rather cute man there who said hello. We began to chat for a bit. After an hour I said I was leaving, he asked for my number. I gave it to him. When I got home, he called and we chatted a bit more. He asked to see me the next day, I said I had to run an errand or two that day but another time soon. So on Tuesday of last week, we got together for dinner. We ended the evening with a kiss good bye and he said he was leaving to go work a construction job in his hometown. I said alright. Last Sunday I sent a text saying hope he was having a good time and working hard. He sent a text saying he was working a lot during the day and will be playing hard. On Monday he sent a text saying he was sunburned and will call/text when he returns. I said ok. It's been two days since. Now what do I do? Keep waiting or text?
gaius Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Don't text again until he gets back to you. If it takes him a while then return the favor and take a while before answering. 1
CherryT Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I agree with the rest. Let him chase you and don't stop your life and wait for it. It might not ever happen and that's OK, he just wasn't the right one. Just keep moving and if he wants to catch you, he'll do it.
spiderowl Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Check he's not married or attached before anything else.
jcrew11 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 send him a photo of your cleavage! That will bring him back and notice you.
jcrew11 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Check he's not married or attached before anything else. Yeah, most attractive guys have lots of girls on his bench.
Mme. Chaucer Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Yeah, most attractive guys have lots of girls on his bench. Maybe, but just because a guy's attractive doesn't mean he's not open to finding someone special. Not everyone is a callow douche. OP, carry on. If he's interested, he will call. If he's not interested enough to call, you'll regret it if you pursue.
Author mortensorchid Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Thanks, I will let it be. If he's interested he will contact me again. I had other things distracting me away from this so now I am back to normal once again. If he's worth it, he can take the time to contact me once again. 1
