A long time ago I went to a therapeutic massage spa to fix my shoulder. The masseuse commented how handsome I was, and I replied, "you are just saying this to be nice." Then said said, "if it's far from the truth, then I would lose credibility..." What she meant was if she praised a fat dude about his body, the dude would not trust her because he obviously knew he was fat.

My woman says I'm really "hot" and "sexy". I have never had a woman describe me that way. It's either "cute", "handsome", "charming", or "nice". Do women exaggerate praises to their man because they love their man, or is it because they actually believe their own words? I actually don't care about my looks because I'm a dude, and I'd rather be known for my abilities and my brain. Good looks would just be a bonus for me.

Ladies, do you man look better to you as your feelings grow?

She could be saying it because, to her, you are hot and sexy. She could be saying it because she loves you. She could be blowing smoke up your ass. She could trying to convince herself.

Don't overthink it. Just enjoy it.

Because the other women in your life have not been your girlfriend, and so describing you in that way would have been extremely bold.

Yes, of course.

I also find he becomes quite ugly when my feelings disappear.

It could be true, it could be she wants you to feel good about yourself. Either way, just take the damn compliment.
