smile1983 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Well last night we had three girls and three guys and normally the girls work up front and the guys work in the back. Well one of the guys wanted to work up front and he sent one of the girls to the back so he could work up front. She was back there like two seconds before she decided she'd rather not work back there. Then the other girl besides me went back. Well the guy who wanted to work up front suggested that she wouldn't last long either and then I would have to go back there. I told him that I did have experience working in the back (which I do, I've been there for a year and have learned to do pretty much everything) and he told me to go back there. Upon hearing this my crush (who is the night boss) called him back there and I saw him yell at the guy but I didn't hear what was said. I think the very idea of working with me pissed him off. So I guess that means he definitely does not like me. I did ask the guy when he came back up what he got chewed out for and he said that the night boss chewed him out for making the girls go back there but that he was just joking. I saw his face though and he was seriously angry so I think this guy was just trying to spare my feelings. Not been a good week for me.

Author smile1983 Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Maybe it would help if I called them cooks and waiters? The girls are the waiters and the guys are the cooks. However, it is not always this way. We are all encouraged to learn everything about the job and I have done almost everything there is to be done there. I know how to do it all. So it would make sense for me to move into position of cook if one of the guys decided to be a waiter that night more than it would for either of the other two girls who were working that night. Neither of them have any experience as cooks.
