Is it best to work out in the Am or PM or does it matter? I'm tired of going to my gym at night and need a change. Tired of the same old people everyday. :bunny:

I don't work out at all, but I hear that when you exercise in the morning it gives you energy throughout the whole day.

yep - that's true for me. I think it's best to work out early in morning - by the end of the day your body is gearing down to rest.

Haven't seen DudeSomeWhere on here in a while - he'd know the right answer & be able to give you all the medical data to back it up.

I work out at night because it fits my schedule better, but after I have alot of energy and stay up all night.

Try taking a jog early in the morning or something.

It all depends on what you goal is, are you trying to build muscle? - then workout in the afternoon when your glycogen levels are high.

However if your just working out to stay in shape, tone up, etc - then working out in the morning is probably the best because it jacks up your metabolism for the rest of the day, which will make you feel more awake and energized aswell as aid with fat burning.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I tried working out this morning at like 6:00 AM ughhh. It sucks getting up but I think I will get more benefit from it. I'm just trying to slim down and tone up a little. At least this way if I can't make it in the morning I can still go after work. :D

I prefer to work out in the early evening, as this is when the muscles in the human body tend to be at their peak efficiency.

I work out in the PM....

Only because I dont have time in morning..

As long as you work out..you should be ok...either morning or night!
