My thinking would be either a guy would be interested or not, and, if interested, would call soon again after a date, or if he was not interested I would assume he would not call again under any circumstances. Is it that they were dating someone else at the time and that fizzled out? Perhaps they never liked me that much, and just decided to call on a lark? If this has happened to anyone reading this post, would you still give the guy a chance or are you turned off by the length of time? Can you start liking someone again when such a lapse of time has gone by? This happened again to me recently, and I am unsure what to do, as I feel insulated by the length of time, but on the other hand, I guess it would be OK to go out again. Any opinions?

I've never called a woman I dated a few times then stopped nor have I had a woman do the same. I have sent a hello email if I was back on a dating site and saw someone on there I dated or went out with a few times. Why? Bored, maybe looking for a hook up. Sometimes they stopped the contact during the dating and sometimes I have. If they are not interested, they ignore the email. I wouldn't call or text someone after that length of time. I'd be afraid they wouldn't know who I am. I typically delete phone numbers from Women that i dated and didn't go anywhere. Why keep a number on my phone ?
