ggas Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Some of you probably read my breakup story and the others can just search for it. I recently posted about having doubts that I didn't fight enough about my relationship and I got some good feedback. Well last night I went to the cinema and watched the movie "Before Midnight". I will not spoil it for you guys but basically it offers a rational perspective about love beyond butterflies and the honeymoon period. I think it explains "the GIGS" thing better than any post here on LS and most importantly it teaches a valuable lesson about compromise, meeting halfway, being happy with what you have and so on and so forth. I feel more enlightened now. It did trigger some thoughts about my last gf. To make things worse I posted something on FB which was an inside joke between me and a friend, some academic crap. She commented with some fancy article and idea which was TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to what I asked. It was so obvious she just posted that to make a point that she knows some fancy crap, I was like "Wow. This is arrogant" (in my head of course). Anyway, go watch the movie and hopefully it will relate to you as much as it relates to me. Love and be loved
